NGC281. The Pac-man Nebula
Emision nebula in Casiopea
 
This is a red diffuse nebula with its associated open cluster, located 2 degrees west of alpha Casiopea. It is quite brigt and can be detected with binoculars in very good sky conditions.
Distance to Earth: 
5500 light years.
Visual magnitude:
