NGC869-884. The Double Cluster
Open clusters in Perseo
 
This double open cluster was catalogued in the year 130 BC by the greek astronomer Hipparcos. Both clusters, that are only a few hundreds light years apart, are located in Perseus and they are pretty young, some 3,2 million years.
Distance to Earth: 
7000 light years.
Visual magnitude:
7,2
